I bought a bag of Gerty guinea carrot and cranberry a few weeks ago from Vet UK and it was £18.66. I thought I would order another couple of bags and just been to their website and it's now gone up to £24.69. What are Supreme playing at keep hiking up the price of their guinea pig foods.grrrrgrrrr It wouldn't be so bad if it was only a pound or two but £6 a bag is a bit much.:( Looks like I will be looking for a cheaper food then cos I'm not paying that for 12.5 kg.
 
I feed mine Beartts Golden Guinea which used to be about £7 for 20kg and is now £9.35.

Wagg is good, have you tried that? About £10 - £11 for 15kg

Everything has gone up over the last 6 months!

I always used to feed my piggies Gertie until it got up to £19.99 for 15kg. Together with the fact that they chucked alot of it out of the bowl and would not eat, I have been trying them with other food.

I have been converting my lot across to Science Selective ... not cheap at £6.99 for a 2kg bag (I think it is 2kg and not 2.5kg - will have a look) but I have tracked it down on the internet for £4.62 or £4.99.

Tesco's Purple bag is popular with them too.

Everything is going up in price! :{
 
Yes I tried the wagg guinea pig crunch but they didn't seem too keen although I think they may have to get to like it.:))

Yes I got a bag of Science selective when I got the Gerty guinea pig and I mixed it in with what was left of the Gerty but they don't like it - they leave it in the bowl.rolleyes That is £5.43 now on Vet UK but it was only £4.62 when I bought it at the end of October.
 
mine LOVE tesco value and at £1.79 for 2kg i dont mind it either.

They also dont mind bright eye which i get from home bargins which is 89p for 1kg
 
i emailed science selective about samples and they sent me a 350g bag for free as i said i wanted to try before i buy! pancake seems to like it so its worth emailing and asking!
 
I buy the 3kg bags of Gerty GP Supreme and found that it varied between £4.99 and £7.99 within a 3 mile radius. Needless to say I bought the £4.99 bag and will keep an eye out for next time. Hope this helps.

Yes I emailed them but they didn't have any in when I emailed them so I bought a bag and then got the sample a few days after.:))
