Just a bit of update on Prince. That's him this morning after we cleaned his chin. He's got quite an excess skin on his chin because of the big abscess removed yesterday. He is such a good boy because we haven't heard any pain squeek from him. He is taking his critical care & meds very well too. He managed to eat by himself most of the grass I left him last night and some melon & cucumber. Hopefully he'll perk up soon.

Hope he gets well soon! Was the abscess removed completely or drained?
It was removed completely. He had an xray and Simon lanced it after. He needed to see if it was in the jaw because it was so big and wasn't moving when he was checking it, but thankfully it wasn't in the jaw.

Lovely pig he is. Get well soon kid

Update:

Prince is still being fed critical care and being hand fed with cucumber and his fave nuggets. I've seen him eat some hay but he just doesn't eat by himself completely.

Anyway, I noticed after his operation that he started leaking pee most of the time. I thought at first that he is wet and stinks of pee because he was just lying on the same place all the time. But I noticed that every time I pick him up, he is dripping pee. Whenever I feed him on my lap his getting soak coz he is dripping pee. We had to give him a bum was today coz he stinks. It never happened in the past. Not sure if it's just a temporary thing because he had an operation, or there is something sinister going on. Hopefully it's just nothing.

Poor little piggy. I hope his problems disappear soon so he can be a happy piggy again. Sending love to both of you

That does sound strange! Hopefully advice will be along soon.
Yeah, I can't think of why. He is still not back to his normal self. He's not eating normal yet. I still have to syringe feed him and put cucumber in his mouth and encourage him to eat. Sometimes though I can see him eating hay and grass so at least he is trying. I'm thinking the antibiotic (0.55ml Zithromax) is making him lose his appetite (?).
