Pringle has always been a fan of a little bit of banana, however recently he has learnt the sound of a banana being peeled!
Nothing gets passed these boys! I thought it was because I often peeled it near the cage where the fruit bowl was but no, today I was in the kitchen and as soon as I started I heard a soft wheak wheak from my little banana junkie! Came over to find his little white stripe smiling at me so I couldn’t resist giving him his fix!
The fridge and the rustling is one thing but peeling a banana! Piggies are so much smarter than outsiders give them credit for!
Just a bit Pringle gets a small slice once a week max!

Clever Pringle! Do you give him the peel? Apparently that is delicious. Once you get over it being terrifying that is 😂😂
 
No I haven’t given him some peel! Maybe that can be next weeks treat!
 
Ruby gets a small slice complete with peel, and it is her absolute favourite thing ever.
However I do only use organic bananas if I am giving her peel too because I worry about the stuff on the peel of non organic ones as they are much harder to wash properly than most other fruit and veg.
 
That’s a good point don’t want to be feeding him any fertiliser!
 
Muffin was a big fan of a little bit of banana. And I think Billie likes it, too. (Billie likes most things that can be eaten - of course only the things guinea pigs are allowed to have - don't know about the rest. :whistle:)
I never tried feeding the peel, but I would only try it with organic bananas.
 
I haven’t managed a full banana since I got my boys, only have to open the stairs door and there’s a riot until I reach the room and give them both a little bit. Both junkies too!

Ooo wow there is such a difference! Pepper always takes it off me nibbles and drops it! It’s the one thing he doesn’t love that Pringle does!
