privet hedging?

Sorry forgot to say,i have privet hedging and just trimmed it yesterday,i've picked up most of the bits but there is a few little bits.So need to know how poisonous it is! :o
 
if you cant find any info on the net about it, id say dont give it to them just to be on the safe side..brush it up with a brush n shovel so there are no bits left.

is it grown from bulb? if so bulb plants are poisonus to guinea's
 
I am not sure if its poisonous to piggys or not but it is Poisonous to other animals so i would air on the side of caution.

Privet is a hedge so definatly not grown from a bulb
 
Warning: These bushes come in bags. Some of these bags are made of a man made material. They are designed to kill roots. Be sure you remove all bags before you plant. Failure to do this, voids all warranties. New bushes are very tender and should be introduced to low temperatures slowly. Temps of as low as 37 degrees can harm the leaves.

Plants need very little maintenance other than trimming. Once they are established it is very hard to kill them. Even if you cut them down to the ground, they will bounce right back up.

This privet, as well as any other privets, is toxic to animals.

 
The privet is WELL established it's most likely older than me (36yrs) I've swept up as much as i can!But the rain is not helping! Hoping that the little bits i miss will dry up and not be a threat to the guinea pigs.The rabbits are always eating the hedging!
 
I've got same problem with Ivy which is Poisonous its growing up intwined a tree next to my pigs sheds so am always picking it up I did try cutting it all off last year but its back again apparently I need to find the root and dig it up which is impossible as its under fencing and a paved area,
