Our guinea pig is currently on Baytril twice a day
I’ve bought Vetark Pro-C probiotic for him to have whilst he’s still on them 2 hours before/after
I plan on syringe feeding it to him mixed with water just to make sure he’s having it
How much is recommended to give him? As in how many g of the probiotic mixed with how many ml of water?

You can just add a small pinch to water.

I think the instructions are actually one scoop of powder (which I think is 5ml - it’s ml not grams) to 200ml of water so you would need to calculate it down if you want to be very precise with it.

If you want grams then you would have to weigh out one scoop and then calculate that down again. But I would think such a tiny amount of powder for a syringe full of water on normal kitchen scales wouldn’t be possible to calculate - the scales probably wouldn’t go down that low

Pro C and Biolapis Fibreplex are good. Some people sprinkle or smear them on cucumber or other favourite snack 🍎

I’ve seen one scoop a day for it to be maximum effective
I’m thinking half a scoop mixed with 5ml twice a day
Does that sound about right?

When my piggies are on antibiotics, I put a pinch of Pro-C in a few ml of water and syringe feed it into them an hour after the AB's. It may be a few syringes of Pro-C and water but they love it so don't seem to mind.
