So I need to order some more and I've seen you can either order the normal yellow one or Pro C professional. Which one is better to use?

I have also been wondering about the Avipro but wasn't sure if it has probiotics in or not?

So I'm thinking about going for the Pro C professional but not sure if it's much better?

I'm also thinking about other supplements, I mean my piggies are pretty young still but I'd like to look after them as much as I can for their older age.

Pro C has the same prebiotics as AviPro, plus the probiotics. ProC professional is a more concentrated version of ProC, but essentially the same ingredients.

I've found that if I add ProC in their water bottles, it affects the water quality - I guess the prebiotic stimulates the proliferation of other bacteria in the bottle. This is why I prefer to give it to them in a syringe, and I like the more concentrated version, so I can get away with giving them less.

Btw, I think Oxbow's joint support is really good. I have a young boar with arthritis, and we're managing the condition solely with Oxbow Joint support + Glucosamine; we haven't started him on metacam yet, as he's still doing fine without it. Before starting Oxbow Joint support, I think he was uncomfortable and he would occasionally bite his knees, I assume because they hurt, but I haven't seen him do that at all in over a week now, and he's much more active. He even popcorns a little :) I've ordered more of Oxbow's natural support tablets, I used to think they're just expensive treats, but now I'm convinced. :)

Thanks for your reply! Yes that's what I thought, I might get the professional one if I don't need to use as much.

I've been putting it in the water bottles just for a few days to make sure they're all getting plenty after their antibiotics but I normally syringe if it's just one piggy.

That's fabulous, luckily none of my babies have arthritis yet but I'm wondering if it might be worth getting some as a bit of a preventative! It's nice to know they work! :)

I have the joint support, biscuit won't eat it! I'm going to get some pro c when I get paid but I'm broke at the moment with vets bills.
