Just asking on behalf of a friend, her piggies had the sniffles so have been prescribed Baytril however no probiotic was given, one of the boys now has an upset tummy however the vet will not give her any probiotic without booking another appointment to see the piggy (obviouly with the consultancy fees that incurs!) Is there anywhere she can buy a probiotic or anything that can be used in the meantime?

thanks :)

Most pet shops, certainly P@H sell it. I have always found it really helped. x

I told her to try p@h and they didn't know what she meant, shows how different the standards are in each store! Do you know what brand name maybe she would need to ask for?

Yes just looking at mine that I got from there:
VETARK Pro - C Probiotic
Friendly bacteria and soluble fibre with vitamin c and glucose for digestive support.
Yellow tub with pictures of dog, rabbit, hammies, guinea pigs, mice, parrot on.
100g

Hope this helps. I just add it to the water bottle and none have ever refused. xx
