Okay so my guineapig has been on baytril for a few days due to her URI problem. She has seemed to of lost her appetite, which from what I heard baytril can cause this due to taking the good bacterias away? So I've purchased some PRO C PROBIOTIC from P@H, I've sprinkled some onto her cucumber which she has eaten, and was wondering what else can I do to ensure she also has this? She doesn't drink a lot anyway, so I've tried syringing it, but I don't want to keep syringing it into her because she gets stressed. Also, how many times should she be having this?

Give a pinch of probiotic about 1-2 hours after giving any antibiotic. If she is eating it sprinkled on veg, then that is fine!
Please weigh her daily at the same time and if necessary top her up with hand feed to make up for any loss of appetite. You can also up the vitamin C to help support the immune system.
You can find all necessary information in our complete hand feeding guide here: http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/threads/complete-hand-feeding-guide.115359/
