Probiotics?

Meant to ask on my other thread about Toffo - I've been advised to give him a probiotic but I'm not sure what to buy or how much to give? This is to go along with the Batril and Sudafed. He is eating but his droppings are a bit smaller than usual.

ive only ever used bio lapis which the vet give me and i added it with 50mls of water and syringed it all over 2days i think :-\

I got a general pet probiotic from P@H but I don't know if it's any good.

Can you ask your vet for some bio lapsis? My little piggy Huxley is on it at the moment and hasn't shown any signs of loss of appetite which can happen when they are on baytril. One of our other pigs had a bad tum on baytril so we asked for some bio lapsis this time.

i am in oz, and the vet gave me 2 packets of protexin each 2 grams. i had to put half packet(1 gram) into 1 litre of water and mix and then just poor it into her water bottle. i also syringe fed her about 0.1 mls 3 times a day. hoping little toffo gets better soon. hugs and cuddles to you both. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
