Regarding my last thread http://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=26062 I couldn't shake the feeling that they wouldn't have enough air so I have just cut a hole in the towel. Do you think that they won't have any problems breathing now considering that they are in an outhouse? The carpet will be going over the top and sides of the hutch over the next few weeks and they will have a snugglesafe when the weather is real bad. The towel is only going to be pulled over at night. Do you think that the hole is big enough for air and light?

That will be fine Claire. TBH, I would have just left it how it was, as if there are any draughts, they will just blow thorugh that hole.

Unless the out house is air tight - which I know it isn't, you have nothing to worry about. They only have small lungs, and don't require a lot of Oxygen. Of course, good ventilation is key, but they have that during the day.
