Problem with roaches nesting in the cage

Our house isn't infested but they're nesting in the guinea pigs pen pretty bad. Originally brought in from outsider's trash, they're nested in the fleece mat itself and I need advice for getting rid of them and keeping them gone.
 
The best thing is to throw away any materials that might have eggs laid in them. Clean blankets and newly bought hay would be best. Where are you keeping the pen? Storing the food and offering it in clean ceramic or metal bowl that gets cleaned and changed twice a day is a good idea. Poops need to be removed so that there is no build up, so twice a day at least. Good luck, I hope you can get rid of the cockroaches 🙏❤️
 
You may need to bring your piggies indoors and keep them in a C&C pen or a MidWest pen with a Correx or tarpaulin floor.
 
They are in doors, the cage is one of those connecting clear plastic panels cages that can be set up in different sizes and shapes . It seems like the poop is possibly whats attracting them?
 
You need to change the cage out every few days and vacuum clean it well to get rid of any eggs. Spray F10 all over the cage and leave it to dry then put everything back in. It may take a few weeks to get rid of the eggs, but eventually they will go. Make sure you clean out your vacuum cleaner very well afterwards. Preferably use an old one you can just get rid of when you've finished. You have to be persistent.
