image.webp We were given a male 4 year old boar a while ago by a friend whose children had no time for and we are concerned towards his health. He has some sort of liquid leaking from his eyes, very red skin and clumps of dirt in his fur which always seem to come back (pictures enclosed). His fur was very matted and oily when we got him as well as being very scared and jumpy. Since we have moved him in with another male (past thread we wanted to move him in with our sow but as we couldn't find neutering services we had to forgoe that idea) and he seems to be better but we are still unsure about him. We are not sure if these are normal problems or potentially dangerous. Can anyone help?image.webpimage.webpimage.webp

I would get him checked over by the vet.

Is the leaky eye fluid there all the time? It could be eye cleaning fluid which is a milky white substance.....

Hard to tell from the photos if there is any skin issue, any sign of dandruff? Scabs?
