Helooo what is profleece like and what is the differences between profleece and vet bed please.Also where does everyone get there pro fleece from thanks
 
No difference in my opinion other than profleece is soooooo much cheaper, I actually think profleece is better and looks nicer for longer, I find vetbed once washed to look scruffy and mine won't tumble dry compared to my pro fleece that gets washed and tumble dried twice a week and looks as good as new, I got my vetbed from the vets and my pro fleece off ebay!
 
I don't remember, I wil have a look and let you know, its gr8 cause u can cut it to any size without it fraying etc.

We started of with vet bed then someone recommended pro-fleece so I got one piece and now have just swapped all 9 piggies on to it, it washes better, keeps its shape, fluffs up again after being washed, comes in funky colours (we have pink, red and purple), is cheap and the delivery is very quick ( I think pro-fleece should give me a job recommending them ;D) And more importantly the pigs love it!

You can use it on top of newspaper or on top of towel :) The urine soaks away from the profleece onto the newspaper/towel.
You mustn't use softener when you wash it as the softener creates a waterproof barrier & urine just sits on top :)
 
My girls just get to run around on hay. Is it better to keep them on something like profleece then? Had never heard of it until today! :embarassed:

Pro fleece is just a little luxury and keeps them nice and snug, I use hay too as then they can have the choice, it is fab and I recomend it to everyone!
 
How does it work? Do you lay it over newspaper? What about washing and poop?! 98) 98) Sorry lots of qus!
 
I put mine on top of newspaper, when cleaning them out I give it a shake to knock off all poop and hay etc then chuck it in washing machine on 40 and then in tumble drier and then good as new. I always have spare so when I'm washing one they have one in the hutch.

Reason i ask is I've got a pregnant GP and was wondering whether to put some profleece in her house. The comments Ive seen so far suggest people use it throughout the cage
 
Mine is just for bedding but my piggys move it round to suit them! Its so snuggly I'm sure your preggy piggy would love it!

we use it throughout. Its fantastic stuff. We will never go back to hay or woodshavings.
