Hi all,
After posting recently in the behaviour bits about introducing my new boars to the household, I thought I should introduce them properly on here with some pictures
.
Here are Bertie (black & tan Abyssinian cross 5 months) with his new cagemate Horatio (magpie 11 weeks):
And here's baby Pip around 6-8 weeks old:
We are hoping to get Pip an older rescue male to be his companion as Bertie just wouldn't accept him to be in a trio with him & Horatio.
We have kept guinea pigs for the past 4 years, we originally had Cloud & Willow who were brothers but both died in 2012, Cloud of kidney failure in July & Willow on Christmas Eve after several episodes of bloat
.
Here are Cloud (white with patches) and Willow (black) in their happier days. They were kind of teddy coated, lovely boys
Anyway, that is hello from us. We also have two Syrian hamsters Teddy & Bubble and a dwarf Chinese hamster Monty as well as two cats Billy & Charlie who are not allowed in the same room as the guineas & hamsters because they think small furries are very interesting...
