Proper Introductions Of The Trio Meeting The Herd

Great video. They are all so lovely. I do have a particular soft spot for orange and white piggies esp sheltie mixes ...

Like the bag crinkling idea. Good one.

Thanks. I started using the plastic bag trick a couple introductions ago when I saw piggies started chattering at each other. The instant they heard the bag both stopped and paid attention to me and forgot they were chattering.

I am in LOVE with Buttercup omg she is lovely! Absolutely love your herd. Like a piggy heaven

Yes. Buttercup is definitely a sweet heart and my high maintenance piggie due to needing haircuts and baths.

Was just going to say I squealed when I saw Buttercup  I'm obsessed with her fluffy bum! I think her name is just perfect for her, too.

@PiggieHerd You have such a beautiful bunch of girls

Lol. She was seized from Animal Control from her previous owner due to poor living conditions, her sister is Coconut the silkie. When I first saw her, she had lots of matted fur, long nails, and scratches. Someone was going to adopt her sister Coconut but not her and I couldn't let that happen so I talked to Animal Shelter and lady up front agreed that they should be adopted together so I got priority and took both of them home with me a year ago.

Now both of them get groomed once a month.

That was so kind of you to keep them together, and that's funny because I also noticed Coconut and how deliciously furry she was. Their pig parents must have been lookers, because they definitely have good genes
Lucky girls to have found such an awesome home after all they've been through

I'm thinking Patches (newest- almost all black) when she grows a bit older she will develop longer hair too, she already has some and thinking it just needs time to grow longer.

I just wanted to jump in there with them all. I can't pick a favourite, they are all so beautiful
