One of my girls MAY be a boy. I tried pushing above the area and a nub does come out, but I am not 100% sure its a penis because I read some females have small nubs too. I would take a pic but he/she whatever our pig is bites because it doesn't like us messing down there. Rose has a nice clear Y and Penelope has a very large and slightly open Y, I dont know what that means, but we do suspect she may be preggo. Smores upon inspection is up in the air if its a V or Y, and when pushed the nub I talked about before does come out. If Smores is in fact a boy and I have 2 pregnant piggies I may have to go back and complain and demand they pay the vet bills for the soon to be babies. Is there a surefire way I can tell if my pig is a boar or a sow?

This might help; http://www.cavyspirit.com/sexing.htm

I'm not very experienced on sexing guinea pigs, I'm sure someone will come along with better advice, however, has the one you think might be a boar been rumblestrutting/mounting the ladies?

If you can get a picture then someone on here should be able to tell you what the sex is

Well its still up in the air on whether we have 3 sows or 2 sows and a boar. Even my vet was confused. She said she was about 75% sure Smores is a sow, and if she is in fact a he, she could understand how the pet store mixed up. But today after I fed them I noticed Smores humping Rose. Does this mean I have a boar or do sows sometimes hump other sows?
