-I’ll also rotate things like: spinach, red cabbage, broccoli, Mizuna, pak choi a couple times a month.

-i’ll add corn husk & silk, banana peel if and when I have it.

-I’ll probably feed 25g per pig per meal (B,L,D) of fresh food making 75g each in total per day.
-15g of pellets per day at lunch.

-Unlimited timothy hay with a few pieces of dried oat grass and rye grass mixed in.

-In winter i’ll look into growing my own grass indoors in trays and maybe a tiny bit of dry forage. Is it safe to give dry forage daily? Like 5g or so?

(*Mitsuba is Japanese honewort/Cryptotaenia Japonica. I’ve checked Japanese advice and isn’t poisonous to piggies.

Your variety looks fine.
I personally find sticking to this kind of thing incredibly difficult and Other than topping up hay throughout the day, I only feed twice a day. Mine get hay and pellets in the morning, hay topped up throughout the day and then their veg and more hay at night. Ultimately though, what works best for you and the piggies is absolutely fine!

Forage is fine to give a little each day

My Finn and Lara also get three meals of veggies a day similar to yours. I rotate their menus to ensure they are getting all the vitamins.
I always give them romaine lettuce daily along with other veggies like cilantro, celery, cucumber, and some fruits.
Currently I go outside to grab grass and dandelions for them, which they love to eat.
I make sure they always have access to plenty of Oxbow hay, which is the most important meal for them.

I have kids so need to feed them 3 times a day. The piggies will be much easier as they can’t beg me for snacks all day...or can they?! 😅 😂

I’m usually chopping fruit and veg most of the day because of the children anyway, so shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

I haven’t got any yet. Just planning. I’ve contacted a few rescues to say I’m interested after covid19 has settled. In Japan they don’t have piggie specific rescues but other shelters get them in occasionally. I’ve asked them to let me know when/if they do. I think that may be the hardest thing. Waiting to get them 😅

Yes they absolutely will beg you! My pigs are worse than my kids for the constant ‘Mum, is it snack time yet’!
