I don't know whether others have heard about this, but there is a call to stand at our doorsteps (or balconies like Italy, if you have them) at 8pm and applaud our nhs and other essential services.
I'll be sending special thanks to the staff at Wythenshawe hospital that looked after my friend Graham, who died of the virus this morning.
