Despite hating being picked up a week or two ago, one of my seven month old boys has recently decided to wait to be picked up each night. He’ll still scarper if he’s got a hide, but once I take them all out he’ll just come over to the side and wait for me to pick him up

Just wait until he decides it's a great idea to hop over the edge! It'll happen when you least expect and are least prepared for it, too. I swear it's a boar thing.

The boys can both jump over the sides, but they don’t (the cage is on the ground anyway so they don’t have far to fall) but they do jump back IN it?

Comet jumped off the sofa twice and was angling for a third attempt (on 3 separate occasions, this was) because I took my eye off him for 3 seconds. Bloody menaces the lot of them!

...and we all know we wouldn't have it any other way.
