PSA: PLEASE REPORT/TAKE ACTION ASAP - GP ABUSE ON YOUTUBE

Hi everyone,

Please spread the word: there is a YouTube channel where an individual posts videos of vile and disgusting behavior against guinea pigs. The individual posts videos of physically harming and (I believe he even killed) guinea pigs.

I personally have not gone on the channel because I just can’t bring myself to. I did not have it in me to see such horrible, inhuman behavior. Hence, I am trying to spread awareness so that this situation can be brought to light and the individual be held responsible.

Below is the picture of said channel. Please spread the news if you can.

It’s been reported and tweeted publicly to the YouTube team but it appears they officially just aren’t doing anything. It is discouraging to say the least that someone can upload content of themselves abusing animals and the team isn’t removing the videos.

I've just had a look through their channel. I'm struggling to find any animal videos - unless YouTube has removed them already?
It's mostly minecraft stuff on there

It looks as though the videos have been removed. The only Guinea pig video there was the one in that picture which doesn't show any abuse just poor handling

Hi all,

First and foremost, thank you so much for taking the time to report the videos. Or even going on the channel to attempt to. I was not aware that the videos have been taken down… they were very much there a couple of days ago. In fact, I found out about this through a subreddit where people were spreading awareness and encouraging folks to report. But, it is still very unfortunate that the Guinea pigs in the abuser’s captivity are probably still experiencing such pain.

I had reached out to LA Guinea Pig Rescue as well to see if something could be done. They’re working on it, but might be tough since the abuser is in another country (Philippines).

I truly hope that the abuser is held responsible, or better yet, the Guinea pigs be rescued.

Again, thank you so much for taking the time to read this post, and I truly thank you for taking the time to report.

Update:

The person’s father had been contacted… I am not sure if serious measures were taken regarding the matter of abuse


Hopefully that is the case, but at this point we can only hope.

Animal Abuse is awful... doing that for likes... I can't even... they deserve respect, safety, dignity, love, and care.

Its not enough for YouTube to delete the horrid videos. The abuse needs to stop. Not just switch from a public to a private setting, but it needs to STOP.
