Puffs Into A Round Ball

I noticed that FlipFlop has a habit of puffing herself up into a round ball when she is eating veggies. She really loves them and she looks like she is a teddy when she does it.

Anyone else piggie do this? Never seen it before

I think they do this to look bigger to prevent predators from attacking them while they eat.

My Elliot does this! I think it's to make him look bigger to my other two boars so they don't steal his food as he hates sharing anything! The other two don't do this, but then they will share anything with anyone!

It is quite common; you notice it most with smooth piggies.

Rupert does it when eating parsley, basil or curly kale - his three favourite munchies! It is very cute.

Yay, she done it again last night (first time since she wasnt feeling well). bigger than ever. She looks so happy muching away in her fur ball. Makes me laugh so much

My piggies do that, it's the most adorable thing ever, especially as their fur is medium length, and Doughnut is a rex hybrid so he's quite big and fluffy anyway.
