I was wondering if anyone might be able to help.

Yesterday, when I got Lacey out for a cuddle, I noticed that one of her eyes is a bit blood shot and the eyelids are a bit puffy. There's no discharge or signs of ulcer. Then i realised Tango has the same thing in the same eye :(

I've had another look today and they are no worse but still puffy.

The fact that they both have it makes me think it could be a little bit of an infection.

Could anyone advise me what I'm looking for with regards to eye infections?

My little boy is having an operation tomorrow and so I can't get to the vet. Should I take them today or will they be ok until friday?

I don't like to rush to the vets but I'm a bit worried :(

better to take them today and get some antibiotics if needed, than leaving it longer and maybe having it develop further and having more complications!

Good luck!

Some antibiotic eye drops will clear anything up before it gets too bad, you can bathe the eyes in cold tea, put a couple of teabags in a mug of boiling water and leave to go cold. x
