Pulling At Bedding

Hey everyone,

My pig has now developed a new habit. Maybe someone could explain it to me.

I use fleece blanks as their bedding, well one of my pigs has taken to biting it and pulling up. She normally does this to my shirt to let me know she wants to go potty.

Piggies have their own quirks and quite a few love to redecorate their cage to their liking, including sneaking underneath or pulling on their bedding. Yours has discovered that she can play with the bedding and move it.

My guinea pigs do that too! Nothing to worry about. It usually means they’re trying to burrow, so maybe try putting a towel in the cage so they can burrow under it.

My Bailey used to do what I call 'pulling threads' where he would pull on towels etc! When I collected Percy he did the same thing too!
