can piggies eat it? its that time of year where i get a pumpkin just to carve and I'm aware that its such a waste of food as it just gets binned!so wondered if theres any part that animals can eat,I'm not eating it the smell just makes me want to:)>>>
 
If your pigs don't like it and you don't want to waste the inside, you could always make use of it by doing this...

You can feed the parts of all pumpkins, squashes and marrows that are fit for human consumption. However, do not feed those that haven't been grown for eating and do not feed those parts you wouldn't eat yourself.
 
I thought the inside of the pumpkin (and squash) was okay to feed but not the seeds.
