My beautiful girl Pumpkin, who we adopted from Faith rescue in Hickling Broad, Norfolk many many years ago has her legs again on Rainbow Bridge.
At the end she was riddled with cancer, arthritis and had cataracts in both eyes. She had lost control of her bladder and bowels. Although it broke my heart to let her go I knew in my heart that although my girl was alert inside her poor body was broken and tired.
We didnt know how old she was when we took her home, but she was with us 11 years.
I held her and we looked into each others eyes as she was given the final injection. It was like she knew what I was doing and that is a guilt that will live with me forever.
Will always love and miss you gorgeous girl, you better be waiting for me!
