I love this idea! Can you show me how you set up the hay pan? Thanks.I use puppy pee pads under the hay pan as mine use hay pan as their bathroom as well as eat hay. I buy big bulk of 150 count Dog Pads and cut to lay them under the hay pan. I throw away left over hay along with pee pad so cleaning is a breeze. I clean their hay pans every other day because it gets soiled pretty quickly.

Welcome!I love this idea! Can you show me how you set up the hay pan? Thanks.I need to get this size pads as the smaller ones they push them around and lie under them creating a mess.
They look so cute but they defeat the purpose of the doggy pad. I love the fact that there are no bad smells whatsoever when using the dog pads, these are great, if I could only get them to stop playing around with the pads.

Hi guys. I’m a new owner and had a similar question so thought I’d ask here instead of starting a new thread. I set up my first cage yesterday and have put “back 2 nature” absorbant pellets on the bottom of the cage and have put hay on top. Using this would be quite expensive though. I have seen the fleece liners that people use so was considering one of those. Or could we use puppy pads?. Would you just put the puppy pad on it’s own or with hay on top?.
