Purple Theme

The forum once again now has a purple theme.

This theme is based upon the Easter theme that went down so well with users today.

This theme can be selected by clicking the paintbrush icon towards the bottom of the forum.

The Easter theme will go back into the cupboard for use next year in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

How can I go purple on the phone version of the site? I'm using android on a samsung if that helps... I love purple but see no paintbrush icons!

You should have this at the bottom of your screen, click on the it underlined and it gives you options of which one you want to use. I’m on an iPhone though, so I don’t know if it is the sameD4112F51-82FF-41C6-897E-A2E852F7D20E.jpeg

You can also do it in the preferences bit if you click on your profile picture at the top of the screen, which was how I always did it before
 
I always write in purple when giving feedback comments on my students' work, red always looks a bit hostile to me but purple is friendly and also if the feedback comments are purple they know they came from me personally :)

I have to admit a bias there as it's my favourite colour :) My English teacher always wrote in purple too, unless she was feeling particularly annoyed with me.

I was anticipating doing that last night, but SB has beaten me to it :) I think there are a few fonts that're designed to help those with poor eyesight, so I could look in to it as it's sure to be useful to quite a few members :).

I love purple, it's one of my favourite colours :nod:
It looks lovely for the new theme, but alas my eyes find it hard going, even for the large font purple :cool:

So I'm going to stick with my age old, tried & tested GPTV theme :luv:
I don't need to put my glasses on, have a head wobble or grow my arms to see it ;)
Apparently I'm very long sighted in one eye & very short sighted in the other, so this theme is perfect for me :luv:

That is why you have a theme just for you. I can’t remember what I did to create it lol
