One of my pigs has started to push a little harder when he poops, they come out fine and soft otherwise. He only seems to do it with the ones he eats as i have been watching him and he pushes and then eats it. Is this ok or something to watch? Other than that all is fine and he poops all the time.:)

I thought maybe they maybe softer making him push more, I'm sure i read somewhere that the ones they eat are softer and can sometimes need extra help out, by pushing more. mallethead

It is something mine do too, again only with the ones they eat. They seem to hunch a little and raise themselves a bit in 'preparation' for the poop before tucking under.

Yes he does this and sometimes i can here a little squeak like if he is pushing it out, not loud and he only does it now and then, hopfully its something to do with the poo being softer and needing extra help out.

:)
