Lemon and Panda are almost always together, and it seems to be how they like it.
At least, most of the time.
If panda catches lemon with food (ex. carrots, which panda btw doesn't like) she always goes and take it from Lemon (who usually takes a slice and then goes hide in one of their hideys) usually ending in a loud wheek and Lemon having to give up her slice, of which panda takes maybe one bite to then leave behind.
I can't really tell what is happening in these moments as Lemon is still very shy and prefers eating somewhere I can't see her (sometimes she sits out in the open and usually they seem fine in this position).
Should I do something about this ? Seperate them while eating their veggies (it only seems to be when it's about veggies) or is this okay behaviour and just Panda showing she's boss ?
I'm very protective over my little lemon baby, she's a lot smaller and calmer and i'd hate for her to get bullied a lot :(

Does lemon get to eat the veg after panda has taken it and left it?

My patches is the boss and will often take food from nia, but then nia goes off and finds somethig else. Patches has a nibble or two then moves on and nia is allowed to eat the previously removed item again.

As long as lemon is actually getting some food I wouldn't worry too much. I think iy is a bit of an "I'm the boss" statement.

Also, if you hand feed them at all, always give the boss pig first.

ooh yeah i always do, also because wel panda is the first to come and see if what i have to offer is something nice or not!
Lemon does get to finish whatever Panda leaves behind, she won't go look for something else as she is far too shy when i'm around. But I am quite certain panda wouldn't stop her from doing so it's more of a lemon things that's kinda scary thing.
Blood is never drawn and Lemon does seem more confident if panda is around

Panda is just exerting her dominance. It will settle down once she feels secure in her position. Please try to feed veg and pellets in smaller portions that can be eaten in one go 2-3 times a day, place the bowls as far apart as you can and if necessary have a third bowl ready for distraction. Remove the bowls between meals. Upt to 80% of the daily food intake should be hay, so they are not going without in the meantime! As long as Lemon gets to eat her share somehow and is gaining weight, you need not worry.
