Ok me and my mum have out molly (who maybe a max) back in the lilly her babies

my mum is 95% sure she is a girl as my mum has poked and pressed where i have read on here and a breeder who we know as told us to press to see if a tail comes out and mum poked and pressed for about 5 min at the top at the bottom an dthe sides etc and nothing as come out and my mum also posked and preesed the day we found out lilly was having babies and the day she had her babies

i mean there is not tail coming out at all and molly looked so lonely and upset and left out on her own and my mum said sh eis 95% she is a girl and said we should put her back in with lilly and her babies

well lilly and molly where so happy to see each other there had a little sniff and a kiss than after that for the forst 30min lilly was a bit unsure about her going near the babies but after about 30min she got over it the babies dont seem to mind her and once when i looked in at them todau molly was siting with the babies well there mother was eating lunch and another time i looked in lilly and molly where sat togerther like there use to

molly wouldnt hurt the babies she is so layed back lilly is the bossy one before when it was the two of them lilly was the more domatatet ones she se to go get and bring there food in to the bedroom it was allways lilly frst to do stuff etc

molly is just quite happy to sit there and watch wats going on lilly likes to go look and do

anyways we will be taking lilly and her babies and molly (or aunt molly as mum says) tp this breeder who is very good and beening doing it for 20 years to she whos a girl and whos a boy

so i have 6 piggers in one cage now there have 2 dishs with dry food in a dish with stuff cut up for the babies (evn tho i have seen them eating the still i get ready for lilly and molly)

How soon until you get to go to the breeder's? Though you may be 95% sure, there is still that 5%, and I don't think you want Lilly or any of her babies to get pregnant. I guess it's ok, but I would get to the breeder's right away to make sure who's a what.

yeah but there is not tail coming out of where it should my mum has pressed and pressed and nothing coming out we will be going to the breeder at the end of the month

Some boys are notoriously hard to sex unless you know exactly what you are doing

we have had rabbits and has had cats (and still got one) and our cat is a boy and we do know what where looking for nothing is coming out of where it should if she is a boy

anyways i told my mum it will be hay fault if it is a boy and she has babies again

i am very sure she is a girl tho

It would be a lot fairer to poor lilly if you made sure FIRST that Molly was a Molly, saying that its your Mum's fault if she gets pregnant is not responsible you must make sure first - Hey surely I'm right here everyone? ? ?

Totally agree. What has cats' sex got to do with it? They are totally different to sexing guinea pigs :-\

yes but you havint seen how lonely and upset mollywas on her own

we are sure she is a girl we have a firend who has 2 boys who are about 2 years old and she says she is a girl

it's sad to see her upset, yes, but it's not fair on her to get pregnant again if Molly isn't female.

Please tell me the connection with cats?

will my cat we got him for the rspca there said he was a girl but will after to a few tios to the vets and and opration he didnt need we found out that the cat was a boy not a girl and we aslo had a simler problrm with a rabbit e got 2 girls but one was a boy but we found ot before the girl made her babies and the boy has it lilly opration

put it this way i know what I'm looking for down there and molly dose not have a tail I'm telling you

people think that my cat is girl as he looks like one and you cant see his tail - but i can where i move his hair out of the way

But surely its better for 'Molly' to be lonely for a couple of more days rather than poor liliy getting pregnant again? Its not responsible to take chances like that. There is enough information on this forum and other sites to spot a boy from a girl, in fact piggies are one of the easiest animals to sex ( apart from hamsters lol!) - rabbits and cats involve a lot more rummaging ;)

Perhaps the fact that you are looking for a 'tail' might confuse the issue ;D ;D ;DSorry couldn't ressit it ;D

its more like a couple more weeks whre going when there five/four weeks old

and me and mum has looked on sites t girls and bos pits and we jnow that girls have a y and boys have an i and we are sure she is a girl

why hasant a tial come out where you need to press

A 'tail'? Their penis/willy you mean.

Doesn't always 'come out' when they are young

she is 4months well four and half months i think it should come out now

and yea i mean penis/willy but i call them tails

Therefore if Molly is four months the sex of the piggy should be staring you in the face - LITERALLY!! Get someone to check for you before Lily gets pregnant - there are enough babies on this forum and others needing a home without adding to it by being unsure of a Piggys sex LOL!

wel she a girl I'm sure shes a girl and thats that if sh ewas a boy i would of found a willy by now

Very true.

look i know in my herat of hearts she is a girl and anyways when there babies are 4/5 weeks old we will be taking them all up to the breeder to see what sex the babies are and to se if molly is a girl

you may not like that i put molly back in allready but I CAN NOT FIND A WILLY ON THAT GUINEA PIG IF SHE HAD ONE I'm SURE I WOULD OF SEEN IT BY NOW I HAVE HEAD HER FOR 2 AND HALF MONTHS

now if you all stop going on about for puting her back in it was may choice and i know thats best for guinea pigs lilly and molly are both so much happier now and its a lot easier at feeding time and cleaning out time aswell

how can you say i dont know about pigs i have had gunea pigs for about 2 and half years
if she was a boy i would of found a willy buy now wouldnt of i yes so shut up

You asked for our opinions, so why are you now reacting angrily when we give them to you? If you aren't 100% sure "Molly" is a girl, you shouldn't put her in, and if you weren't 100% sure you wouldn't have asked. Please be responsible and take Molly to a vet to be sexed, as it will not be at all pleasant for poor Lilly if she has litters back to back, are you willing to risk that for the sake of one trip to the vets?

I take it you are only a child by the way you are reacting to this sort of opinion, also have you got books they do fab pictures of the gentil areas of guinea pigs, if not GET TO THE LIBARY >:(

It should be about what is best for your guinea pigs, not about what is easiest for you.

Why of why couldn't your mum just make an appointment at the local vet and ask him or her to check the gender for you?
I truly despair at times...

If you don't want people to reply to your posts with their honest opinions then don't post. Its as simple as that. All we've heard is that you're not 100% sure that Molly is a girl but yet you go ahead and do what you like anyway. Telling your mum that its her fault if she's a boy is both childish and irresponsible. If there is a pregnancy it will be YOUR fault because you put a pig in without being 100% sure of its sex.

Now I'm sorry if you don't like what us ADULTS are advising you to do. If all you want to do is tell people what you're doing and have them agree with you, I suggest you join another forum consisting of other like minded children.

I know I've been a bit harsh. I don't usually "have a go" like this, in fact I have never done so before but you are really getting on my nerves :( All you're doing is worrying the responsible people on here.

as you have 2 pigs and one has just had baby's have you ever thought about comparing the 'bits' you know the one who had the baby's a girl...so what does this other pig look like? identical ? its a girl...
if not GET him out :)
sorry if I'm stating the obvious
