My question is when bringing in a new piggie how long should they be in quarantine before they can be near your existing piggie, I seem to remember 2 weeks but not sure I got that right.

Hubby has seen a piggie on Preloved and has decided she is to be Rogers new wife so is driving to pick her up tomorrow!

I think 2 weeks is the norm, then if no problems present, it should be ok. If you were getting a piggy from a good rescue, who could give you a medical history etc. it may not always be necessary. xx

Thanks guys apparently she is red with a white crest about 3 mths old the lady apprently has to move and can't take her with her!! anyway himself is smitten and I'm going along with it as can you imagine if someone got hold of her and bred her.... to be honest I'd rather from a reputable rescue for the reason of not probably having to quarantine but hey ho....

Roger has not been informed as yet!

Just as well Roger has a lovely mum. Can't imagine who I would have ended up with if my mum had picked my other half for me. lol xx

:))

They won't be able to be together together for just under another 5 weeks so it's not a biggie but I was hanging on for a certain wee lass I have to say to be available darn it!

I have a 2 week minimum and they then stay with me for atleast a week afterwards before even being advertised localy/or my site. Somtimes ill post here but with a date 3 weeks from arrival.
