Quarantining!

I am going to go buy a piggie tomorrow but just read a thread on having to quarantine the new piggie for 2-3 weeks as the shops don’t, however I am getting it from a big shop, I’ve had to wait to see the piggies as they are right now in quarantine and can’t be sold until tomorrow, thus being why I’ve waited almost week to get a new buddy for my guy. Do I need to quarantine still if they’ve been done so in store?

(Also, I am aware of adopt don’t shop, I promise I’ve looked at every SPCA across my lower mainland and have checked all my kijijis and even craigslist, no skinnies to be found anywhere and I am really wanting a skinnie just thought I’d clarify quick!)

If the shop is doing a proper quarantine, then you should be OK.

Most places don't, and a steady stream of mostly new bought ringworm or UTI piggies is keeping us busy as a result.
