I'm going to try to state this question as delicately as possible.
I have two boars: Ginger and Cocoa.
Ginger is the alpha pig. He is always rumbling and asserting himself.
He also mounts Cocoa frequently, even when they are out of the cage hanging out on the couch with me.
Cocoa doesn't seem to be to distressed by this behavior, but it does bother me. I read somewhere that when male GP's do this to another male that it is about territory, not about sex. But I have to tell you, it looks like sex to me.
So, my question: When boars do this behavior, is there any penetration going on? Is he hurting Cocoa?
