I just logged in and realized I've been a member of this forum since I adopted my piggies one exact year ago!

Anyway, I had a food question. I often have leftover herbs when I cook, and some of them aren't covered by the food lists. Does anyone have any experience with or knowledge of the following:

Rosemary
Sage
Basil (I've seen vids of people feeding this, but it's not on the lists)
Oregano

Given how much the boys love herbs, in general, I'd love to widen their options, but only if it's safe. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I understand rosemary isn't good, but mine love basil. Not sure about the other two.

I've given my two boys all four of those herbs and they love them everything in moderation though!

They can eat all of those but I've never found they are keen on rosemary or sage. Oregano sometime is ok but basil is really popular with my boys!

Like anything it should be in moderation though.

My boys very much like basil, Greek basil (small leaves), mint and lemon balm as treats. I avoid Rosemary though.

Mint is a big fave here but parsley is tops! I do limit it though as i know it's high in calcium or oxalic acid. Or something not good anyway!

Yeah basil, mint, coriander and parsley are my boys faves oh and dill the love that too

mine eat sage, parsley, mint, oregano, thyme and basil but they only get the occasional leaf because I grow it for me to cook with not for them

I grow fennel, parsley, lemon balm (good calmative), mint, spearmint, dandelions, carrots including tops, all in containers for the little food monsters.

I try and grow my own herbs for the piggies but my rabbit monsters make sure it's for them
