I have 4 pigs now. I have 1 female living with a neutered male. And then an older male with a 3 week old male. My question is about washing their fleece. Do I need to keep the fleece separate so that my boys don't fight? Or can I wash it all together.

Will washing it take the female smell away? I hope this makes sense! :)p

I have two trios, a sow and two boars in each. I have two of everything (same fleeces etc) as I like their cages to be exactly the same (sad, I know!) but I don't pay attention when I wash them to keep everyones seperate. I also only have one carry case so I clean them out alternatively so they go into it one trio after the other. The smells of the fleeces/box have never seemed to bother the other trio at all.

I think it'd be fine. You'll know if the boars smell the female because they'll make a rumbling sound and go around looking for her! Mine do anyway, because they share a run (at different times of course) with the girls, so they can smell them in their and start rumbling. :) (Their two new runs should be coming today though, so no more sharing, woohoo!)

I would wash them together, but make sure that I give them each always only "their" fleeces, if that makes sense?

I wash all mine together, and they don't each have their own. That would be impossible for me for all the fosters. xx
