Maybe just me being a paranoid mummy. My 2 girls visited the CCT (Piggy vet) on Sunday afternoon. They are all fine thankfully. My little girl started coughing while eating this evening think all is fine. Just wondering really how likely is it for the girls to catch a uri from this ?

Coughing when eating is an indication of a greedy pig swallowing air when gulping down their food and nothing to worry about.

Any decent vet is disinfecting the consultation table between customers, so there should not be any risk of infection whatsoever. Certainly none of my guinea pigs has ever come down with something picked up at a vets, and I have had lots of piggies for a long time now! ;)
