I love looking up guinea pig images on google to show my friends, but often I see pictures of cooked guinea pigs or things like them waiting to be cooked.

It is extremely distressing for me to see this and I am wondering if there is ANY way possible to have this blocked so it won't appear on the images?

I know over all I should just avoid using google images but I want to sometimes show my friends pictures of something to do with a guinea pig and these pop up.

So if anyone knows how I can block them that would be great. Thank you.

Turn your safe search settings to strict, as this does filter out a few of the images. Then be very specific with your words when doing the image search. Usually when google-ing some thing you use a simple phrase to get the most results, if you are more specific it filters them down more so. For example ... i googled "peruvian guinea pig" with safe search off and there were 5 images of a more sensitive nature within the first 2 pages, turn safe search to strict and it went down to 3, then i googled "Peruvian guinea pig breed" with those settings and there were no cooked guinea's until page 5 and it was only one image.

And what ever you do if you want a picture of a guinea pig eating always put "guinea pig eating grass"

Thank you SO much for the advice.

I wanted to show my friend yesterday a breed of guinea pig that I saw at a rescue yesterday but instead this thing popped up with guinea pigs waiting to be cooked and then some cooked ones. I was absolutely horrified and felt sick. I know its natural in that country but it doesn't mean I, as a guinea pig lover, want to see this every time I search for one.

I will definitely use the eating grass bit added on from now on. Thank you.
