As some of you know I have 2 young boars...Brock and Theo. What I'm thinking now is I would really like to rescue a couple more. Obviously the new arrivals would be bonded together (not with the 2 boys). If I were to rescue 2 more, would I be better sticking with boars. My thinking is if I were to go for say 2 sows wouldn't this cause upset with Brock and Theo.I'm thinking on the lines of even after handling 2 sows Brock and Theo would still detect the scent of sows on me.Any advice, suggestions would be appreciated.
Forgot to mention the boys are housed outside. So would the new arrivals, depending on age and health.

I experienced boys reacting to girls when i looked after a pair while owners were on holiday, the two boys got more dominant with each other chasing and humping more than usual and when i would feed the girls there veg and then get the boys out they'd be too busy sniffing my clothes and things to eat and wheeking loudly.
If you did have girls you'd have to make sure you handle them in different clothes haha? and bowls and things should be kept separate as i tried giving boys the girls left overs from veggies and things went mad !

I think it would be safer to go for another pair of boars just so they do not start to smell the girls and fight over them.

Yup, as the others said, adding sows into the picture will just make the boars want to be more aggressive, dominant, and just upset everyone making life for them stressful that they can't reach the girls.
