Questionable Food Ideas

I was searching whether guinea pigs can have suede and I came across a website saying that they can have dried bread or mashed bran instead of pellets. Just to clarify this isn't true right?

Swede is OK - but not many guinea pigs like it.

Bread is a no .

My food table says one small piece once a week. Bread is not good for them.

When l was a kid l used to feed mine a bran mash that had tea leaves and chopped carrot and turnip,
but l would never feed it now, not as long as there are saffer altenative , (damp bran ferments quickly, )
