So ive gone up to put Brambles cream on her ears, her ringworm has returned, this time in both ears...problem is the cream doesnt seem to work! She had gas the other day, and now ive gone up to find her with a gunky nose and sneezing. So of course we're back to the vets tomorrow if theyve got an appointment, if not i'll be seeing if my old vets can fit her in 90 miles away as an emergency as we have to go down there to see family..so she will have to come with us any way.

I'm really happy that we gave her a chance with the e.cuniculi, as far as that goes shes doing really well, with everything, shes been her normal happy, perky little puffball self. I cant help but feel guilty though, that I chose to keep her alive just to suffer illness after illness. I know she would tell me if she was unhappy, but is this whats best for her?

I dont really know what I'm asking, just rambling really, I suppose. I just wish I could make it all better instead of feeling like as soon as we sort one thing, she has more to deal with!

Typically, shes mooching about on the floor without a care in the world.

I am sorry to hear Bramble is unwell again. I feel there's never a right or wrong in these decisions, you go with your gut instinct and the advice of a vet you trust. You have given Bramble a lovely life despite the illnesses and she is a happy girl. When the time comes to let her go you will know, she will let you know. Try not to think of the ifs and buts of how things have been, they will drive you mad. Good luck with the vet and whatever decision you make will be the right one. Hugs to you and Bramble.

Thankyou, thats really helpful :) I do feel like she is not ready to give up yet and I have no problem tackling each hurdle as they come for as long as she wants to. Ive been doubting whether I'm keeping her alive at all costs for my own benefit but..she enjoys her life, shes a new pig with her new friend. I'm hoping to see the vet that treated her before but I have a feeling shes left. I guess i'll find out tomorrow!

Well I dont know whats going on with her! The gunk didnt return, the sneezing stopped..we're thinking it is her allergies as ive been scatter feeding them to avoid cleaning bowls filled with poo soup..maybe digging around in the shavings isnt doing her any good. Will swap her over to paper stuff and feed with a bowl for a while to see how she gets on. Reluctant to give her medication if she doesnt need it. Will see how she is tomorrow, she was running around happy as anything this morning!

I am so pleased she's better. Fingers crossed it lasts.
I had a scare with Willow this morning, his wheek went hoarse. I've been on piggy watch and listen all day. Rang the vets they said as he's still breathing, eating, zooming and normal in every other way to just watch. I used a different hay yesterday, it's got small fluffy bits so wondering if that's the problem. Cage has had a complete clean and back to last of old hay today. These little critters do keep us on our toes!

Hopefully! Poor Willow, hopefully now the hay has been changed back he'll be back to normal.
They certainly do keep us on our toes haha once I get home ive got to take Leonard in to get another look at his hooting, he was given a clean bill of health earlier in the year but its getting worse and I'm convinced its a heart issue, Shelly also does it from time to time so it could be in the family... or they just keep sticking their noses in things they shouldnt be!
