HI everyone,
just have a couple of questions. first is "vibrating" normal in piggies? Also I am getting a new little one next week, I've had pancake about 2 months now, do * think introducing a new one to a lone piggy is ok, dont know how she will react

Hi Jen, My girls vibrate too - although we call it purring, they don't do it all the time only seems to be when they are relaxed a bit like a cat i suppose.

You must be really excited about next week - I can't wait until my new ones arrive. Pancake should be OK as guineas are social animals at heart and as long as you introduce them on neutral ground with lots of food to distract them. I've never had problems introducing sows to one another i'm sure you do get problems but i don't think its very common.
