I was out and about (plus needed to have quick look at their fabric crates for pepper) today so as I was passing I popped into the p@h and things were quite good (for that company), one pair of girls in the adoption center having come from a home - unable to keep situation and they looked healthy. In the for sale section only one pen with what I assume were boars as there was an older larger silver aguoti male rumbling around the other smaller ones, mostly white short coats but one very pretty mixed coat length ginger and white - very tempting to buy as very pretty with the larger male but I am not set up for a pair of males so easy to resist ;)

I wont buy from them anyway, crate was too expensive and was only looking for size guide, had pepper weighed - a stonking 27kg :red diet for her, she is supposed to be 24kg and what a good girl she was, she can see through the glass cages easily and got quite excited about the many rabbits in there, but a firm leave near the pigs and she stood quietly ignoring them (especially as the adoption pen one of the girls was settled down for a sleep, chicken legs and all x) ) such a good girl and really chuffed that she is viewing pigs as part of our family - wouldnt trust her on her own with them though inbreeding

I think my branch are under the ok catagory, not sure how good their advice is. Came home and gave my gang a huge pile of veg as I was tempted to get the two boars so apologised to my lot for nearly weakening.

I get my chameleon food in P@H in Weston if I can't get any at Cadbury Garden Centre and can't be bothered to drive through Bristol to the reptile shop. Animal wise, they're not too bad (if they were, they'd know about it - I know some of the people that work there ;) ) I went in there the other day to just look at hamster cage sizes, and the group of boars in the right hand pen ... x)

the same lot I saw today, cant stop thinking about the two I took a fancy to but must resist as I dont want to line the companies pockets.

I am glad you have the same impression of them, they are not bad and had they not been a p@h shop I would be happy to shop there.

There was one with a little Jeffy mohawk drool

I much prefer getting my reptile food from an independant reptile place (who are amazing with their knowledge and enclosures!), but if they don't have what I need, then sometimes unfortunately needs must :x

I have been ordering my feeder insects online but they keep going missing in the post and they arrive 3 weeks later all dead :(
