Quick Question - Being Wee'd On

They wee and poo so much more than I had ever thought! Such small animals, so much waste!

They enjoy lap time even with the children for about 5-10 mins especially if being fed grass at the same time, after that they become more wriggly and we put them back in their run.

Hmm I agree with @sport_billy it is definitely a sign they need the toilet :lol!:

Two of my boys were the worst when they were young and we first got them. It was every time you picked them up for laptime but these days whether they now are more settled and trusting or older and have more control it is very rare :xd:

However you always find with the amount of animals that we have that someone is always guaranteed to do something somewhere or on someone  :lol!:

They are just a tube on legs :)

We are lucky if we get 15 mins without a wee. One of our girls will nibble if she needs the loo. The others get restless....

I found each piggie different and depending on age!
Our boys couldn't have cared less they'd wee no matter what! They'd be snuggling down happy lying there and just relax and oooops! Where as my girls hated to wee on me and would almost be embarrassed.
Your piggie sounds relaxed :D

It def depends on the piggie. Herbie will sit on Jens neck for a good hour these days and chutters when he needs a wee so she can put him back. But we did have a few accidents when we first had him. Sven isn't a fan of lap time but is still pretty good and so far lil norm has only had 10-15 mins at a time with no issues...yet lol.

I should say herbie may be abnormal we r pretty sure he is a guinealion rather than a piggie. He has no fear or boundries. Free range and ruling the spare room. Even the dog bows to him...

My pigs get squirmy and start to back up if they need to pee. So for us, it just means that we missed the signs and waited too long to put them back. We got peed on more by babies, either because we weren't as attuned to the signs or because they weren't as attuned as to how to send us signs that we could read. They do make an effort not to pee on us, and are good enough to go back in the cage to pee and poop during floor time- not sure how they learned to do this, but Linney mastered it and taught Frenzy and then Sundae and Sundae apparently taught Hadley and I'm hoping we can keep passing it down like that because it's very convenient! The amount of time we have after given a signal depends on the pig- Hadley can hold it, but Sundae has chronic bladder issues and once she signals she has to go, you should RUN her back to her cage quickly! LOL!

Most of my piggies just do it randomly but a couple of them back up as a warning that they are about to go. Then they pee 10 gallons of pee and poop like little machine guns! :lol!:

Hahaha sounds like someone needed a tiddle :)) Usually if they start tugging clothes it's best to put them back in the cage....or you risk the almighty PEE!

usually my piggies let me know if they need to go for a wee, they will poop away during cuddletime but their way of letting me know is by looking at me and run/jumping up under my chin, then giving me lots of kisses! I don't get weed on much now as they are all over a year old, some piggies can hold it longer than others:) I always have a fleece on my lap just in case though:)

We can go up to around 40 minutes with ours without getting weed on, but any time over 30 minutes is watch for signs its on the way! Treacle gets restless and fidgety and starts an animated chuttering series of squeaks, where as Ruby will back her bottom into you and shuffle her feat a bit , but is generally pretty quiet. We haven't had Bella and Luna long enough to read their signs yet, but I have been weed on by both in lap time so far this week, so I have some more to learn about them!:doh::D

Haha mine all get restless &start to reverse too. Its a sure sign of pee-time ;)
They do seem to pass it on to their companions, all of mine have taught the others over the years :))
Gooood giiirls :luv:
Xx

Fudge has never weed on any of us. She starts nibbling clothes when she needs to go, her nibbles getting stronger the more she needs to go.

Biscuit weed on me once. I was sat at the playpen door, with it open so she could jump out for cuddles when she wanted. She was having a cuddle, jumped back in and then before I knew it had jumped onto my leg and weed. She managed to wee on my brothers hand when he picked her up the other day too. Biscuit poos on me too, very rarely any one else but always me, so not sure whether this should offend me or not!

l,d say ifva pigs gota go a pigs gota go wether relaxed or stresed , tough a relaxed pig might find ot easyer
to pass :hmm:
l find none of mine have weed on me (not reasentaly anyway)
but they do seem to wee on the vets table , which is handy as vet
dips a uranalisis stick in it and l get a free urine test :lol!:
