Quick review wanted if possible?!

Can anyone give me their thoughts on the Burgess Excel guinea pig MUESLI at all?

Going to try and pick a bag up for Maggie later as I forgot to get the stuff she eats from my normal dealer!

I'm working on the assumption that if its Burgess, it has to be halfway decent?
 
I had a bag of this, my pigs wouldn't touch it, only a few of the seeds which they shouldn't really have. they left the nuggets which surprised me. x

Thanks for that! I'm going into the Range later as the pigs love the hay they sell, and I think I've seen it in there. I might buy a bag and a bag of something like wagg as well. All bases covered then. If she won't eat either then I'm sure somepig somewhere will be grateful for it!
 
I was in the range last night (my pigs also love their hay) and they had wagg and burgess muesli in there aswell as the mint burgess nuggets.

I wish i did, mine are on a mix of wagg muesli and P@H nuggets at the moment, i am really struggling to get hold of Burgess B&O nuggets, i need to visit Jolleys.

I get mine through work. You could see how much your vet could get it for?
 
I never thought of that actually, they never have it on the shelf, but i suppose they could get it in for me...! Thanks! x

They should be able to. We stock burgess over other brands but can still get hold of the other brands easily. Check the price with them first though.

Where I work the food is incredibly expensive, the B&O are about £7.50 a bag, compared to about a fiver(?) in P@H. My discount takes it down to a similar price as it is in shops so I still get it from work for convenience...but like I say, where I work is incredibly expensive!
 
Just spoke to them, they can get them in next day for £4.85 a bag which is cheaper than the pet shops! Woo, thanks Amanda.

I got a 3kg bag of the burgess muesli. I checked the ingredients and there's no seeds in it.

They had Gerty in there too, checked the ingredients and didn't like the alfalfa and banana in it, so went for the burgess. Will see how it goes!
 
Well, Maggie went for the burgess muesli over veggies tonight, so I guess that's a big piggy thumbs up!
