I've been popping in and out to read threads but not had a chance to post myself for ages.

I did see Becky's lovely wedding photos and have had a couple of brief chats by email. I've also been in contact with Wiebke so been able to keep up to date with some events.

I'm not sure when I last posted here so my sad news is I lost my darling Humbug to a bacterial URI.

Since then Dexter and the ladies have had a change around in the shed and instead of the hutch now have their first ever C&C cage. I bought a second lot of grids as well to make an exercise run for my small animal boarding business but haven't set them up yet. As Dexter and the ladies free range in the shed I made the cage two levels so they have more hideys and levels to explore. They are loving it.

The biggest change is that I've changed my groups of boys. I did have two trios and one pair. The pair are my oldest boys and one of the trios was the youngest group. I took one of the youngest trio and introduced him to the other trio making one quad. Then the remaining two in the youngest trio have been introduced to my two oldest boys. So far all going well. Has been plenty of chasing, mounting and rumbling but seems to be getting calmer every day and they are all eating, drinking and sharing hideys etc.

The two oldest boys were due their spring bath so when introducing them to the two younger boys did a buddy bath.

The two quads are living side by side:

Lovely to see you Lesa. I am sorry to read about Humbug :(

I just love your set-ups & hope peace remains with your boy quads :)
