my guinea pig bubbles is normally really bouncy when you get her out always nibblin at your clothes and trying to run off she is about 8 weeks old i have seen her eat this morning and when i held her this morning she was being herself but i have just taken her out for a cuddle and she was really still,do you think she could have been sleeping?
i work so i wouldnt normally be getting her out at this time it waould be about an hour later,
I'm so worried about her i love her to pieces we have only had them 2 weeks i went to the shop i got them from and she said well you never know with small animals one minuite there ok next thing they are dead !
hope some one can help
one worried mummy : ( x

Keep an eye on her for the next 24 hours, if at any point you're worried then book an appointment at the vet. You can't be too careful and changes in behaviour are one of the main signs of illness. You know your piggy and if something doesn't feel right then get it checked. I hope she's ok :)

She may have been a little drowsy... As mentioned by Shuuvy changes in behavior can ring alarm bells so keep a close eye on her.

It's a really good idea to weigh piggie regulary, we do this once, sometimes twice a week and jot their weights down in a book.. Weight loss is often the first sign of any illness... Is she eating and pooing ok?

Hi she is eating a pooing, I will weigh her I'm praying she is ok I will watch her for the next 24 hours then get her looked at. Thankyou for the replys xx

Try not too worry too much. If she is eating and pooing well that is good signs! It may be you caught her when she was drowsy, it does happen sometimes. x
