Quinn started to get better but just last night around 11pm he started squealing when pooping again.

Thankfully I have extra Loxicom until he goes to the vet at 12pm.

He's been running around and eating just like normal again :(

Extremely unsure about what to do now.

Thank you @jenniferanneharris There haven't been any squeals today and he's been running around but that could just be the painkiller from last night :(

I've tried getting a urine sample but it doesn't work with Quinn!

Poor Quinn, hopefully just a little infection that will clear up soon x

I had to rearrange the appointment for later on today. I hate not being able to drive :(

Good luck at the vets, it may be that he needs a longer course of antibiotics.

If it continues though I recommend getting a scan or xray done to check for stones. Interstitial cystitis is also a possibility (inflammation of the bladder).

How would they find out about interstitial cystitis?

Everything points to cystitis to me but I'm not a vet I just have that feeling!

It tends to show up on a scan I think but is also what is decided on when all other options have been ruled out. I have 2 with it and they have daily vegan glucosamine.

Ok thank you. I'm going to ask about scans when I am there as they suggested it last time if things didn't clear up :)

Oh dear he's keeping you busy! Hope you get some answers!
We pegged tango for cystitis after there were no signs of stones and he didn't respond to alternate courses of both baytril and septrin. Glucosamine is working wonders for him now, barely hear a squeak!

I am back with more antibiotics. Going to phone vet if there is no improvement in a few days to see about a scan.

There were a lot of dogs howling and we couldn't wait to get out of the vets :(

@Tbag I'll have to give Glucosamine a try if that is what is wrong!

Poor little man. Hopefully he just needs a longer course of antibiotics to get rid of the infection.

Poor Quinn :( Fingers, toes and chooken legs crossed that he feels better soon!

No squealing since he's been at the vet but lots of running around :D

He thanks everyone for their kind words x
