hi i had two female guinea pigs who are 3yrs old they were always together sadly one of them died weds he was unwell but still was sudden the other guinea pig did see her when she died and licked her and laid on her, i am now looking into getting a baby guinea pig for the one who left just wondering if thats ok? and does anyone have any information on if i need to wait a certain time and is there a certain why they bond with each other? Thanks

Sorry for your loss... Rip little one...
Bonding can take place almost immediately... As long as your other pig did not die from anything like diarrhoea then i would like to have a couple weeks just to make sure it's not contagious...
I run a rescue and I have lots of Girlies waiting for their forever homes...
Here's my website...

If any of these girls steal your heart and you make it to the forum meet tomorrow... I'll happily answer any questions you have when we meet... :)
