At 6 days old the little ginger family have already outgrown the maternity cage ( I'm horrified that people keep two full grown piggies in such cages) so I did one on one introductions with the posse and the family in neutral territory to see if I could put them altogether. Generally okay but Livvy-Lou ( top sow) was a bit snipey so I thought it best to wait until the babies are a bit bigger. Which meant creating an annexe in the newly extended piggy palace so that they can be neighbourly for a little while. Put Hettie and her babies in the new annexe and the babies went completely BONKERS popcorning all over the place. I have NEVER seen so much popcorning in my life - with the three of them doing it it really did look like furry corn popping. It was so cute and funny, I can't stop smiling everytime I think about it.
