I am very sorry; it sounds like she had a heart attack or a stroke. They can happen out of the blue at any time. But take consolation in that Lottie didn't suffer for long and that she could leave from your arms, carried by your love. She will always have a special place in your heart.

It is very hard when you are faced with dying for the first time in your life, as our current way of life blends it out rather than including it. That means that you don't know how to deal with it well. It is very normal to grieve for a beloved pet; you grieve for the love and not for the species you shared that love with! The next days will be especially hard, as you will be reminded in a hundreds of little unconcious ways that she is no longer there; it takes some time to adjust to a life that no longer revolves around her.

Has Lottie got a companion who needs looking after? Here are our tips for what you can do for her:

You can also think about a way of remembering Lottie, either by an album, a collage of pictures, a self drawn picture or decorated memorial stone, a song or a poem or a special plant.

I have a few questions if you don't mind
What will happen to her body?
She bit me then I dropped her about 15cm could that be related to her stroke?
And last one but I feel so upset that I don't feel like doing homework is that a valid excuse?

I am very sorry for your loss. Please speak to your Mom and Dad about how you are feeling. Maybe you could bury her together.

I have edited your age out of your post as it is always wise not to disclose your age online.

Lottie had a wonderful life with you. You dropping her would have NO way have caused a stroke. Unfortunately it was just her time

RIP Lottie

I am so sorry you lost your precious girl. You are bound to be hurt and upset and I totally understand why you are unable to do homework. This is a huge shock for you.
